   Memorial Donations Minimize

VCS offers many opportunities for memorializing your pet. One of the most popular is the memorial brick program where your pet's name can be engraved on a brick in the School of Veterinary Medicine Serenity Garden. Contact Connie Anderson in the Development office for more details:

   Facilities Enhancements Minimize

Many facilities enhancement projects and upgrades are underway and huge progress had been made recently with the establishment of the Cancer Treatment Center; installation of a state-of-the-art spiral C.T. unit; construction of the Equine Lameness Center and the Equine ICU; and renovation of the Small Animal ICU.

Ongoing major projects include fund-raising campaigns for construction of the Wildlife Hospital of Louisiana; construction of an Equine Isolation Unit; and a Theriogenology Unit.

Often, gracious donors have provided funds for state-of-the-art equipment to endhance patient care including endoscopes, an oxygen cage, in-light surgery cameras for teaching and many other items.

If you are interested in supporting the continued rapid development of our programs, please contact Dr. David Senior at 225 578 9907 or e-mail at
